the boardwalk is a big, wooden walk-way that begins at the car park. you can either walk down to the beach, or carry on straight ahead and head for the funfair.

• • the funfair ,,
cotton candy, anyone? come on your own to fight off that sunday afternoon boredom, with your friends to see who can eat the most hot dogs in five minutes without throwing their cookies or come with your boyfriend/girlfriend and try and win them a teddy. aw :]

already been to the funfair? or does that stuff just not appeal to you? don't worry, you can always chill out at the beach for a while. whether you're coming to sunbathe and show off your surf moves or just to sit and think, the l.a. beach is always the place to be.

• • ocean avenue ,,
ocean avenue is this awesome little surf shack on the beach. some say that it was what inspired the song ocean avenue, others just say it's coincidence. anyway. either way, it's still the best - whether you want to hire surf gear or just grab a smoothie.
