aaron ramirez , jaymie hartson.
Aaron Ramirez and Jaymie Hartson first met in Kindergarten. Yup, Kindergarten - the days when nobody cared about how their hair looked or how their D&G sunglasses are 'so 5 minutes ago' and the only drama was because somebody had a disagreement over the big 250 tub of Crayola crayons with the sharpener. Those were the days, right?
Anyway. Aaron saw Jaymie was being picked on by a group of boys who were lot bigger and alot stronger than her. They were alot bigger and alot stronger than Aaron himself - but when you're that age you don't really take those kind of facts into consideration. So when the little dude toddled over and told them to leave Jaymie alone, the bullies just laughed in his face and stole his cookie, too. Either way, Jaymie still befriended 'her hero', even though he was nothing near. But like I said; they were in Kindergarten. You don't think about these things. The two of them clicked instantly, not knowing at the time that this would be the start of a long and beautiful friendship. The two stayed friends all through kindergarten and carried on being friends through middle school. They told each other everything - well, except for one thing. They both had crushes on each other. They kept their feelings secret through middle school and the beginning of Freshman year, but the two of them soon came to realize that they loved the other. Still, they wouldn't tell each other. So one rainy evening Aaron made his way over to Jaymie's house. He couldn't take it any longer - he had to tell her. The little dude walked over to his best friend's house, which was only a few blocks away, but still. He knocked at the door and waited. Five minutes, there was no answer. He knocked again and waited for another five minutes. Still no answer. Just as he was about to leave, one of Jaymie's [old] neighbors stuck their head out of the window and said that the Hartson family had moved; not saying where they were going, or why.
The news broke Aaron's little heart. His best friend -and the only girl he had ever loved- had moved away, without even telling him. He didn't even get a chance to say goodbye. His schoolwork suffered miserably, he lost all interest in his hobbies and he would only speak unless spoken to - even then, it would usually be one word answers, like a simple yes or no. He was a completely different person without Jaymie. His parents decided to send him away for the remainder of his high school years. Maybe that way he would be able to focus better. He was shipped off to Hawthorne Hills and thankfully, he cheered up notably; even though in the back of his mind he still loved Jaymie. Now she's here at Hawthorne for her last two years of high school. The two are closer than ever before - but will they ever take the dive and express their true feelings?
Who knows.
