audrey phoenix , alexandré aldéric.
Imagine this scene. It's the beginning of the new semester, two Sophomores are walking down the hallway. Both of them are loners - the girl fresh from being booted out of the Royalty, the boy a new student who has just arrived here from France. Neither are looking where they are going... Yeah, you can probably guess what happened next. They both walked smack bang into each other, with a shower of books and papers flying everywhere. With both of them being loners nobody bothered to help them - instead they acted like they hadn't noticed and carried on walking. When they noticed that they had picked up one of the others' books, they both looked up to speak; but for some reason nothing would come out. They exchanged books in silence before scuttling off to their next class.
It seemed that the so-called incident would be the first of many encounters for Audrey and Alexandré - or as they are more commonly known as around school, 'that girl' and 'that boy'. Two days later, in Science class; the two of them were paired up as lab partners for the rest of the year. There was just one thing wrong. Alexandré's English wasn't too great and Audrey couldn't speak French if her life depended on it. The language barrier was [eventually] broken down when Alexandré offered to teach Audrey French, which developed the beginning of what would turn out to be a long friendship. They became friends quickly - not only did they have science and French tutoring together, but they had plenty of other classes together and they hung out together outside of school.
Of course, the few people who did notice their existence saw how much time they spent together and decided it would be fun to start some rumors. Word quickly got around that Audrey and Alexandré were, apparently, dating on the down-low. It seemed that their relationship must have been so secret, that they didn't even know about it themselves. They both decided it would be best to ignore the rumors, leaving people to get bored so hopefully the heat would eventually die down. Thankfully, it did, and everything was peachy once more. Sorta. The truth was that in all the time that they had spent with each other, they had kinda, sorta, maybe... fell in love with each other. But neither would fess up, because: a) neither of them had the courage and b) even if they did have the courage, they didn't dare to spill their guts in fear of wrecking the friendship or making things awkward. They've kept their feelings secret for this long... But sometime, somebody's going to be forced to come clean.
